I put "ghost files" because the files of tmodloader were there with nothing deleted and yet it was still vanilla Terraria. I clicked verify integrity of files, and now I have all the tmodloader stuff but the game went back to vanilla Terraria and just simply wont use them. My original problem was when trying to log on after loading the vanilla stuff and went to loading mods (the first loading thing that appears of like 10) it didn't fill up one bit. it's probably best you delete these as well before going back to vanilla.I tried fixing a problem with my Terraria mods by checking integrity of game files and now my mod files are "ghost files". then you can easily see which items you had on you and in chests were modded. this will turn any modded blocks in the world to dirt. If you want to move a modded world and character to vanilla which had mods on, then you need to disable all your mods and load up that world and character first. if multiplayer isn't working it's likely because your tmodloader version isn't the same, the mods you have installed aren't the same version or the mods aren't multiplayer compatible.

replace Worlds with Player in both of those to find your modded and unmodded players. the vanilla worlds are in C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Terraria\Worlds, and modded are in C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Terraria\ModLoader\Worlds. your modded worlds and unmodded worlds are stored in different folders. If anyone knows how to convert tmodloader worlds and players to vanilla (normal with nothing extra installed) please tell me. I for some reason can't play multiplayer when I have tmodloader installed but I want to keep my progress. Or you can just copy your worlds and char data.Ĭ:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Terraria\PlayersĬ:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Terraria\WorldsĬ:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Terraria\ModLoader\PlayersĬ:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Terraria\ModLoader\WorldsĬan I do the opposite to go from modded to unmodded? I downloaded tmodloader but did nothing with it, though I made MASSIVE progress in the game while I had it installed, such as getting the ankh shield and super rare items such as vampire knives.
